Zaragoza Airport
Guide To Zaragoza AirportBesides the passenger traffic that has increased enormously in the last years, Zaragoza Airport is also a joint civil-military aerodrome. The growth rate from 2004 (215,000 passengers) to 2005 (381,000) is mainly due to the newly available flights from London Stansted to Zaragoza that are offered by Ryanair.
Because of the International Exhibition in Zaragoza in 2008, there are some improvements going on at the airport. The airport will then be able to provide even more facilities and services to deal with the large number of passengers.
The arrivals hall, the departures lounge and most shops, restaurants and all four car hire companies are located on the ground level of the airport. There is also a first floor where you will find a restaurant which overlooks the runway and area around the terminal.
Six check-in desks, ATM's, information booths, facilities for disabled passengers, a baggage reclaim and car park which can be found outside the terminal complete the airports facilities.
All four car hire companies provide special offers and the possibility to rent a car in advance makes it easier for you to decide which company to choose before you come to Spain.
