Vitoria Airport
Guide To Vitoria AirportIn 2005 the airport handled 91,594 passengers, 39,711 tonnes of cargo (which made it the fourth most important cargo airport in Spain) and 11,579 flights. There is only one single storey terminal building which is used for both arrivals and departures.
The departure area has several check-in desks and is divided into a general departure lounge and three boarding lounges with one gate each. A cafeteria in which passengers can have a snack or a drink before taking off can also be found there.
There is also a multi-shop which offers a wide range of goods, 3 tour operators, a bank with cash machine, 2 car hire desks, a VIP lounge with meeting facilities, a car park with 584 spaces and facilities for passengers with disabilities.
The car hire representatives, bank and tour operators are located in the arrivals hall. Before passengers can get there they will have to go through either the baggage reclaim hall for international flights (with passport and customs control) or the one for domestic flights.
