Tenerife North Airport
Guide To Tenerife North AirportMore than 50 % of the domestic flights that are operated at Tenerife North Airport connect the island with its neighbours Gran Canaria, Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, La Gomera, La Palma and El Hierro. Other destinations are airports in Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Spain (Barcelona, Bilbao, Madrid Barajas and Seville).
Tenerife North Airport has one two storey terminal where both arrivals and departures are handled. In the arrivals hall you will find several baggage reclaim carrousels as well as representatives of five main car hire companies.
On the ground floor there are 30 check-in desks which are used for both national and international flights. If you are waiting for a flight to one of the other Canary Islands then you can stay on the ground floor where a total of six boarding guides can be found. The remaining twelve gates are located on the first floor and operate flights to all other destinations.
Most of the airport's shopping facilities and the VIP lounge are on the first floor, while a bank, lost property desk, all car hire desks and the first aid centre are situated on the ground floor. Cafeterias and restaurants are spread over both levels and a car park is also available.
