Gibraltar Airport
Getting To Gibraltar AirportTo get to Gibraltar Airport from mainland Spain you can either get a bus from Malaga or Algeciras to the border town of La Linea de la Concepcion and walk across the border from the bus station there which takes about fifteen minutes: or drive along the N-340 and turn off at San Roque for La Linea. If you are planning to drive allow plenty of time to cross the border as sometimes there are lengthy queues waiting to enter.
British Airways and Monarch Airlines operate regular flights into Gibraltar from Manchester, London Gatwick and Luton airports. There are also other flights from here to Morocco and other destinations.
There is a bus stop and taxi rank outside the airport terminal building to provide transport for your onward journey.
If you want to arrange car rental from Gibraltar it is easier to do this on the Spanish side of the border at La Linea. There are several car rental companies to choose from here and cars are collected and returned to this location which is quicker and easier than trying to rent them in Gibraltar. Usually a car rental representative will meet your flight and escort you to the car which is only a few minutes walk away.
