Burgos Airport
Getting To Burgos AirportBurgos airport is situated four kilometers to the north east of the capital between the towns of Gamonal and Villafria. It has been operating since October 2000 for civil aircraft, and is undergoing extensive renovation, including the building of a new terminal, runway and apron to turn it into a commercial airport.
The main access route to the airport is from the A-1 motorway via a 650 metre slip road which leads to the terminal building. There are also two secondary service roads at exit 24 and to the south of the airport in Castaneras.
There is no public transport of taxi service operating from this airport so the only way to get around is to arrange a hire car before your journey with a car rental company.
