Getting To Barcelona AirportThe beautiful and historical city of Barcelona is situated in the northeast of Spain and its International Airport can be found 14 km to the southwest of the city.
If you are coming from Ireland or the UK you will be able to fly with British Airways, Easyjet, Iberia, Jet2, Monarch and many more, and to choose from the following airports: Belfast, Birmingham, Bristol, Cork, Coventry, Dublin, Edinburgh, Gatwick, Glasgow, Heathrow, Leeds, Liverpool, Luton, Manchester, Newcastle or Stansted.
Every twenty minutes from 06.00 in the morning until midnight, there is a train service from the airport to the city. In front of all terminals you will also find bus stops (a bus ticket costs € 3.75). Additionally you might also consider the possibility to take advantage of the car rental desks in the terminals. Using a car rental company is definitely the more comfortable way of getting to Barcelona. Road connections are excellent and the trip will not take much longer than half an hour. Parking facilities can be found opposite the terminal.
